Hey all. I've got a generic gamepad controller here, and am having some big issues with Descent 3. Is there any way I can get the game to recognize my Joy1 left as thrust left, joy1 right as right thrust, etc etc? Also, it won't let me have more than the four buttons and the D-Pad; the shoulder and trigger buttons aren't enabled. Any ideas? Running Windows XP SP2.
EDIT: Solved my own problem. If anyone else is interested, I used Joy2Key and mapped all of my joystick inputs to button presses, then bound those button presses in game. Works great :)

Joy2Mouse is an awesome program. There's a huge number of games it's phenomenally useful in.
