Hi, all.

Got D1 and tried playing it for the first time since the original came out a zillion years ago. Back in the day, I had a CH Products Flightstick Pro and really liked it. Does anybody have a recommendation for a suitable joystick to plug into my MacBook to play D1 in 2022?

Thanks for any advice you can offer ...

I wound up taking a chance on a dirt-cheap Thrustmaster. It works just fine on macOS Big Sur 11.6.4. No drivers required, not even USB Overdrive. Plugged it in and macOS saw it immediately. Fired up D1, set the joystick to Thrustmaster and away we went. I seem to recall that the hat on the old Flightstick Pro enabled me to slew. The hat on the Thrustmaster does not, but option key with left/right | up/down on joystick works fine.

Quite pleased. Descent on Mac works really well. This 60-year-old gamer is very happy.
