I just finished the Descent 1 campaign again using the DXX source port. Man, I still love this game and its formula. I played Descent 1's "bundled" version aka Destination Saturn that came with my family's Pentium1 machine back in 1995, so it's a treat to play the registered version and see the full vision that the devs originally shipped.

It blows my mind that we can still enjoy software like this nearly 30 years later! I surely can't think of any electronic games from the 1960s that we played in the 1990s.

If any of the original devs ever read this, thanks for the good times. I'm introducing my kids to this game some day!
