This game is still as fun as it used to be.
I recommend using DXX-Rebirth, as it enables high resolution (well of course models are still low-polygons), 16/10 aspect ratio and good controller support, while still retaining the original feeling.
I personnaly play with the Xbox 360 controller and it's really confortable.
This game is stil unmatched and really brings a lof of fun.
