Alright, I tried looking through the forums and even a Google search, but I couldn't find an answer. Basically, whenever I start Descent 3, the game just has the worst sound choppiness and I find it hard to play. I've tried fussing with the options, both sound and video, but to no avail. I've also tried to mess with my compatibility, going to Windows 7, XP, etc. Nuttin'. I tried to update my drivers, still nothing. I even found a topic that said to try downloading IndirectSound, but it doesn't do anything even after I put it into my Descent 3 folder. I see the option appearing I get the same choppy, annoying sound. I need help. Aggghhh
