Hi ...

I recently downloaded and installed Descent 2 (a fav of mine from way back in the day) ...

However, so far I have not been able to make the POV hat work for my CH Flightstick Pro ... the hat being an essential bit of navigation interface as far as I'm concerned as it allows for the left/right and up/down positioning ...

I've also tried a thrustmaster joystick with identical results ...

The joystick works fine for other functions, though ... general direction changes, etc. ... firing and what not ... but the POV hat seems broke...

Any suggestions??

Are you using the default GOG version? If so you may want to try out the D2X Rebirth or D2X-XL version. They've been updated for current system.

Rebirth is the original look/feel and D2X-XL is fancier graphics but might bog down your PC

Thanks for that ... the D2 Rebirth kit fixed the issue for me ... and I dig the extra options too. Had no idea about that .. thanks again. Nice to play at 1920x1080 instead of that smaller box window ...
