Hi, I'm new to playing with joysticks and I'm trying to figure out what key bindings to use. On the joystick menu in Rebirth the bindings are almost all blank and I don't know whether I need bank, slide, etc. Can someone post their joystick bindings for me to try? If it makes a difference I'm using a Logitech Attack 3.

Generally a good control setup will allow you to trichord. Trichording means doing any combination of the following three things at the same time:

Forward/Reverse
Slide Left/Right
Slide Up/Down

For example, going forward, sliding left and sliding down. You will also need to be able to bank easily while doing that, so that sliding down moves you forward instead of pushing you into the floor.

Since your joystick doesn't have twist, I'd recommend this:

Forward/Back: W/S
Slide Left/Right: A/D
Bank Left/Right: Q/E
Slide Up/Down: Shift/Space and/or the two buttons on your joystick
Turn Left/Right: Axis Left/Right
Pitch Up/Down: Axis Forward/Back
Fire Primary: Trigger
Fire Secondary: Either another button on your joysticck or Shift/Space (basically you need to he able to fire secondaries while sliding up or down)

You may want to switch turning left and right for sliding left and right, depending on what feels better. You could also try putting all the slides on the joystick thumb buttons and making A/D bank (and shift or space secondaries.)

Thanks, this worked great.
