1. Chew Ginger
2. Drink Ginger ale
It really helps! I may be adding more ways later :3.
Good option would be hydrating your brain with gatorade or powerade.
You can also try sweets.
Sweets tend to dehydrate you.
Always look directly at the screen. Motion sickness increases if you don't look at the screen head-on.
Also, when going through the tunnels, try doing it in wire frame mode.
Do not sit so close to the screen
I remember my dad not being able to watch me play Descent. He'd get dizzy and have to leave the room.
I've been playing this game for nearly ten years, so I'm a tad used to the effects of the game... And I wish more games could get the stomach turning like Descent can.
I think the best solution is to play more!! Personally I've never had this problem with Descent though I can understand how some are effected like this.
never had a problem with this.
I'm playing games from when i was 6 years old so i'm hardened i guess.
Play with your eyes closed! %)
I have felt this as well, but I have tried to not roll the screen so often and use auto level, as well as find a comfortable viewing distance.

Capn_ARG, What's up Im at a brick wall (Do Have a Recent Posting pg1) Im stuck in Nocttis Labyrith canyons in / on Descent 3. I have achieved all the Icons...Builder's ...and Collector's .But can't get to the Priest's Icon that is surrounded by a force field. A player ZAMFEAR told me about the blood droplets that you follow on the floor. I even placed markers on areas where not to go,and I've flown the pattern time and time again, and still the force field remain. Missions also stated that I have to be chosen by a / one of the priest to be worthy to get through that locked door;to find that damaged ship and finish the mission. Your help would definately be appreciated,,,,,,be free to drop me an e-mail.....Thank You.....drums18@verizon.net.......Danny
