Hey everybody, lovin' Descent, I didn't even hear of this game until I picked it up off that Interplay bundle but it's a whole lotta fun.

I've configured my 360 controller for use in DXX Rebirth but for some reason the deadzone and sensitivity settings keep resetting on me. It'll be okay for a play session but if I restart the game it's back to the defaults.

Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like there's a permission issue when Rebirth tries to write to the configuration save file. If you're on Windows 7 this might be because it's installed in Program Files. Try running it as an administrator and see if that works. If so, try moving your Rebirth installation to another folder outside of Program Files. (You could keep running as administrator, but that's probably not good practice, though honestly I don't think it'd hurt anything).

Thanks, I'm actually running Vista but that fixed the issue nonetheless.

I'm just going to move all my games out of there, save myself the trouble from my other games.
