Under Vista x64 my mouse works fine in the menus but although it's set in the control config it doesn't actually work in game. Does anyone know of a fix or workaround for this? Trying to play using keyboard makes it hard to aim.

What mouse are you using? I'm using one fine in game. Make sure you have "flight sim" selected in the config section of options (mouse tab).
Other than that try it with your mouse drivers either installed or uninstalled.

i have the same issue on windows xp sp3.
the game simply wont work with the mouse. its just a standard optical usb mouse.
options for mouse and flightsim are turned on.
still doesnt work. any ideas to get it working? any command line switches im unaware of?
edit - ive solved my problem with this game now. or i should say that it solved itself. mouse just started working.

Mouse works in setup but not on options menus. every time i click the mouse it sends me back to my main windows screen with descent 3 tab on the bottom. when i click descent 3 tab program comes back but mouse is useless. I have Vista 32 SP1 standard mouse Please help
