I'm at the part of Deponia where you have to get the headphones for the radio. I did everything to make the headphones become available to me, but there is no way to climb back down into the post office. For some reason, the hotspot for the arrow down is GONE! The cursor will not change into an arrow, and I cannot climb down!

Has anyone else had this problem? I saved and restarted the program, but it looks like the bug got saved too! So I'm stuck on the same screen with no way to exit. This was the first time that I saved since I gave the espresso to Goal, so I have a lot of backtracking to do if I need to use an old save.

Please, anyone, some suggestions?

Okay, so problem solved, although in a rather extreme fashion. I backed up my save games, uninstalled the whole game, removed the game's config file and deleted all remaining files that didn't get removed in the uninstall.

Then I reinstalled it and put my save games back where they belong. I also installed on my SSD this time. All is well now, and there are a lot fewer bugs too.

Backup your save files, then uninstall the game. Make sure that the entire game directory is completely empty or deleted altogether. Then reinstall the game and put your save files back to their original location. That's how I got it to work. Good luck.

I found two more: the game crashes when I get to Act Two, can not take apart inventory in Act Three among the pole, the chewing gum, and embellishment.. It is a good thing I was able to progress when I started the program again after the crash.

I was able to proceed past the crash after starting the program, but it shouldn't crash in the first place.

Is there any way to take items apart?

Please try the game with the new patch labelled as Patch 3.2 on your game shelves :)

Please keep in mind that each of the Deponia games has their own version of Patch 3.2 so please do not attempt to run one patch for all three games :)
