I downloaded the most up-to-date version of Deponia 1 (2.1.0.7 using the Gog Downloader) and tried to install it. During the first attempt, the installer froze up at 1/3 of the way through the integrity check. So I deleted everything and downloaded it again. This time the installer hanged 2/3 of the way through the check. Both times I let the installer sit there for a good half-hour waiting to see if it will continue, but there was never any further progress.

If I skip the check, the installation process finishes normally and gives "Installed Successfully" message, but I'd like to know if there's something wrong with either the installation files, or with my computer (Core i7 3770, 16 gigs RAM, Win 7 64-bit profession SP1 - using Microsoft Security Essentials (no warning given during installation) for anti-virus).

Has anyone else tried to do the integrity check and run into this problem?

I have downloaded the new installer today, also using the GOG downloader. I have not tested the files yet, but the SHA1 hashes of the files are the following:

No problems when installing with the "verify game files" option checked.

You might want to use a tool like memtest86+/prime95 large fft (let them run for more than an hour) to make sure your system is running stable and scale back on overclocks if you have overclocked your computer.
