My native language is Spanish, but I usually play the games in English because it's their original language and I can understand it pretty well.
My question is: what is the original language for these games? English or German? If it's German, do I have the change to set the game in English text but German voices?

Deponia is made by the German game studio Daedalic Entertainment, which accordingly chose German as the original development language. This doesn't just apply to the Deponia games, but also to any other game they made (e.g. Whispered World or Edna & Harvey), if I'm not mistaken.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any possibilty to have German soundfiles with English subtitles. Applying the language packs only get you a version with one single language. I didn't find a way to separate the voices from the texts. Maybe someone else got better hacking skillz than me :)

Well, bad luck, losses are everywhere ;)

Therefor you may have good Spanish games, which we (German gamers) don't understand.
But the English Version isn't bad at all, perhaps you are willing to try this one, if you're not into German ;)
