I found that after installing the latest patch (for all three games), the game sizes have become a lot smaller, almost half of before applying the patch. Is it normal?

Yes, they were "ported" to the new engine, used in Deponia - The Complete Journey (not available on GOG)

Ah, I see! Steam listed the "complete" game requires 8GB, which is almost the total of the three games combined together too. Thanks a lot! :)
