Hi,

Just got Deponia a few hours ago.
Was getting skipped dialogues, so I thought I should apply the 1.0.1.5 update.

Now, I'm getting black sprites. TT_TT.
Tried to move to other locations, but still black sprites.
Tried to change the game resolution, hoping that it would somehow reset things, but still doesn't work.

Also, loading a saved game or moving between scenes causes the game to freeze for seconds (window busy cursor)

Some help please?
In the meantime, I'll try to reinstall the older version

I got a similar problem after installing
the base game +
"Language pack: DE 1.0.0EN -> 1.0.1 DE" (language_pack_deponia_DE_1.0.1.5.exe).

The setup doesnt produce an error but it seems that this combination is missing stuff from the normal patch (patch_deponia_EN_1.0.1.5.exe). When entering the Area joshualimm posted above in his screenshot, i got a blank black screen (though moving the mouse around shows you the hovering text).

This bug is easily fixed when installing the english patch first (patch_deponia_EN_1.0.1.5.exe) and then the german language pack (language_pack_deponia_DE_1.0.1.5.exe).

Afterwards i still could use my old savegames (amazing regarding that i shared them between several pc's and operating systems to find a solution).

I had the same issue, but haven't run into the problem after starting a new game. Not much of a solution if you're well into the game obviously.
