I downloaded this DLC today and it would not install at first. It always said:

error: lua error detected: config/fun.lua:41: attempt to concatenate local path (a boolean value)

Then I followed every step of the troubleshooting al the way to re-downloading the original game and then trying to install the DLC. It said it was a successful installation but when I try to open the app I get a message:

"Democracy 3" is damaged and can't be opened. You Should move it to the Trash.

I also tried the solution suggested on the support page of using xattr -d com.apple.quarantine in the terminal and it failed to fix it though I am sure i followed the steps correctly.

Is there a way to get this DLC to work and has this happened to anyone else?
