This is so weird. I tried to use bandicam to record what the game does, but when I'm busy recording with bandicam the game runs fine?!? Even the mouse works fine on the menu where it was laggy before. And if I turn off bandicam, then the game only runs inbetween the two yellow lines (that I added) while the volume bars are visible by pressing the keyboard shortcuts for it. When the volume bars are gone the game is stuck on one screen, but it still runs in the background since I can hear my gun shooting on command.

Funky issue indeed. Does the Fn functionality (i.e.: volume bars) appear as well while you're using bandicam (both on screen and in the recording)? If not it might have to do with the laptop's Fn featured keys.

If that's the case, look into disabling them (usually from BIOS). Here's an example of how to do that for an HP laptop:

Just google "[laptopManufacturer] disable Fn keys". Alternatively, you could play around with the compatibility features in Windows and see where that gets you.

Yes it does appear, and cool thanks, I wondered how to disable those Fn keys altogether. I'll try that nonetheless to see what happens.
