MeMory-LoSs: Weird issue. Game worked fine when I originally downloaded and installed it. I was able to play it. Now when I try launching it, the game crashes with Program Error and saves a SYSDump.txt

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have tried verifying the files, downloaded 96 MB but the problem persists.

I am on Windows 10. Found some other threads on Steam and GOG that suggested Direct Play needs to be installed and it is.

mrtn-l: For me, it worked out fine to delete the entries in the lines hw3d_name and hw3d_guid.
Should look like hw3d_name = "" and save the file.
So you got the hw detection at start up of the game and all settings except the screen resolution aren't lost.
