In NG+ some armor has the ability of Save vs. Physical/Magic if HP > x%, but I can't find anywhere that tells me what it does. Does anybody know?

I was very confused about this as well, until I found this post on the official forums.

Apparently it just makes your defender go to 1hp instead of dying if a single strike would take them above the threshold to dead. I've noticed that you can get a lot of messages of "Saved!" at other times, but that's just a visual bug.

Save vs. magic is pretty useless, though, as it only protects you against the lightning and fire spells of Zelemir and Eztli. None of the normal monsters do magical damage.
