I've recently (mostly) finished the game and wanted to point out some questionable achievements related decisions. I'm sorry if these were already brought up.

1. If Super Sheep+ is impossible achievement why Completionist (201 blue stars) is hard? You cannot achieve Completionist unless you beat Super Sheep+ because with the latter it's either a gold star or nothing.
2. "A Winner+ is You" is way easier than Marathon (wave 100 on endless 2 in game+), it's not even that hard (although may be it was put on hard because game+ is for diehards :-); and thus it would make sense) and Endurance (wave 100 on endless 2 in original game) should be counted as hard (it's harder than Super Sheep, IMO).
3. I don't know was it a bug or have I overlooked something but I couldn't get enough obsidian skulls to upgrade all the weapons (to get achievements of course). I thought I'd be able to sneak into game++ and get some skulls from there to finish my quest for completion but it seems I can only enter game++ in hero mode and to get all the weapon upgrades I'd need to reuse my earlier save after I upgraded all the weapons to go for armor upgrades. I didn't try it yet but it would be a bit disappointing if it'd work and is the only way to get it done.

So my question is -- whether I can enter game++ without using hero mode or not?

ps. This is a super fun game and a pretty balanced one at that (and not that hard after some training). A time well wasted. :-)

There is not game++, only game+.

But the game has "Hero Mode++" achievement and there are some ++ monsters in the last side quest so I thought... oh, well... Thanks. It's a pity. :-\
I was definitely interested to see what a monster would become Super Sheep in ++ iteration.

Hero Mode++ achievement means getting 180 gold stars in Hero mode.

Argh, so I got Hero Mode++, but then it took it away after I hired recruits... well after already getting ++.

I'm guessing this is a known bug?

There is a workaround -- it just checks your current party status, so you can export your save file, make a copy, delete the extra characters, and import it into a different slot to regain the achievement.
