So I set my rangers to "attack the monster closest to the end" or "attack highest hp + armor" etc. but they don't always seem to listen. Especially to that first one. I often see them just turn to attack other monsters that are in the middle when they're set to attack the one in the front. Are these orders supposed to be "mild suggestions" to these characters and they're free to sometimes deviate or are my rangers derping on this? And yes, I'm absolutely sure I've seen them attack monsters that should not in any way or form be seen as being ahead of others. This is even on single path maps where there should be no confusion whatsoever about who's ahead of who.

Secondly, sometimes the rangers just stop attacking altogether. They just stand there doing nothing even when they're surrounded by mobs. They don't shoot, they don't turn around, they do nothing. nothing nothing nothing. This HAS to be a bug... Is anyone else experiencing this? It's kinda aggravating seeing as how having two rangers whose triple and rapid shot might have saved the day sometimes but nope, they're just going to stand there. I've searched on google but have yet to hear of anyone else having this problem. Anyone else having this problem?

The first one I think has to do with Rapid Shot and Black Out the Sun not wanting to hit a single target with all of their shots. They appear to hit one target with 70-80% of the shots and attempt to hit another target with the rest, provided one is in range. If you've got "maximize effects" checked, that will also affect their performance as they'll attempt to put poison and bleed on multiple targets.

The second is a bug that's been reported before, but AFAIK there's no fix yet.
Are the mobs they're not attacking inside the non-greyed out circle immediately around your rangers? They have that circle to indicate they can't shoot, try moving your rangers back a square or two.

Anyone got a repro case for me to make this dont-fire-anything bug happen? If I can reproduce it I can fix it for the next patch.
