Maybe i"m missing something, but I can't figure out how to save. Help?

And if you want to actually SAVE a game state, export it into a file.
In addition to the export button, you can also back up the autosave manually from the config folder (\Appdata\Roaming\DefendersQuest\Local Store\) in case the game won't start or something.
Thanks, guys. For some reason, I clicked the little red (X) to close the window instead of clicking QUIT. Makes a difference.
For maximum information-ness, the game auto-saves pretty regularly, but the key triggers are:

1) Hitting the overworld
2) Changing something in the party screen and hitting "return to map"
3) Beating a level
4) Starting a cutscene or "you got" screen for the first time

I tried to be as robust as possible, so if your power goes out right after a "you got" screen shows up but before you click "ok", it has already saved and given you credit for the goodie, etc.

Options aren't synched to config.xml until you hit one of the above triggers.
