Xuang9: Just played the demo and it was pretty nice, but I don't really think it is worth 15 dollars. If it was 10 dollars then I would have considered buying it.

Mortons4ck: Agree to disagree. I find it to be totally worth the 3 big mac extra value meals asking price
Lol, I'd rather have the 3 big macs.
Excellent game, well worth the asking price. $15 is jack shit to pay for a game when AAA titles cost four-fold as much. If this genre intrests you, then by all means pick it up on the X-mas sale.
This game kinda does what puzzle quest did to bejeweled and is worth it imo
I just spent nine hours yesterday playing the thing, and will come back for more later. Less than $2 / hour for entertainment on the first day alone is most certainly worth it. And I'll doubtless get it down to $1/hr soon enough, and beyond...
Loved the demo. Its $7.49 right now. Still sitting on the fence. Argh...

Do yourself a favour and buy this game. It's fantastic and one of the best titles I played in 2012!

Persionally I got the game for 7.50$, but, after having played through the game once and peeking at New Game+ a bit, I suspect I'd have paid more if I'd known how much sheer content there was to be had. The game is vast, there's no other way to describe it (other than fun, funny, challenging, addictive and rewarding, that is).

Completely worth it if you like tower defence games. If you don't it may still be worth it.
This game is indeed a lot of fun!
The game is not immersive 3D and there are many story cutscenes to be read,
but the story is fun (and usually I don't like stories in a strategy game), everything is very smartly done, and there is much content. You'll keep wanting to make another battle..
Don't worry, 15$ is a good price.

I would have to say the game is worth $10 bucks to me. While I am quite new to the TD genre I do like the RPG elements that I see and make it a bit more story worthy then other games in the genre that I have seen.

I have been playing the Demo for about 8 hours in total now and have my guys at about level 10 and my Main char as well. I have beaten all the encounters at the most difficult level except for the last one just outside the Monastery, if the demo doesn't end there plz let me know. That battle is annoying because the first 2 waves of guys have such high Armor, 1st wave is the boss guy, that my attacks do little or even no damage. Sure if I had enough Ether I could just lightning blast the boss to death but I need at least 10 - 15 (100-150 ether) more blasts to finish him off even not summoning anyone.

I think one of the things I kind of dislike is the fact that theres no real reason not to just flood guys to get a super powered up army. I would rather they make the exp be split among the guys you have thus making smaller elite parties more feasible. I am the kind of player in most RPG's that if I have a choice chooses smaller parties or even just one guy.

They should limit the number of troops you can have and not just, from what it looks like, let you have upto 6 of each class. Ah well that's really the only problem I think I have with it.

** EDIT, lol just saw the info on the "HERO MODE" achievement that you can get by not recruiting any chars, just playing through with the ones you get as part of the story like the one Berskerer, Ranger and Healer you get in the demo. I truly believe that is almost an insane task and requires grinding like mad for exp. Also just found out about the 3x exp/gold mode u can do although seems really odd that it's not a cheat.
