I don't see anything in the options that seems like it would fuck it up, but When I'm running I'm able to move right while running, however I cannot move left while running. Is this normal? I've only played the PSX version before and don't remember how that one was.

Nevermind, fixed it. I had to remap the key, because A+Left wouldn't work for running, which is the default, however when I changed it to shift it worked fine. But oddly enough A+left works if I use a for attack instead.

The default key settings are horrible. One of the first things any new player should do is reset the key bindings. See my 'Tips for Noobs' thread for suggestions.
