I don't know if the Devs even read here but since they don't seem to have an official way to report bugs I'll just post what I found.
THESE BUG DESCRIPTIONS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!
BUGS
- Developer cheat keys are still active in the game. I almost got a heart attack when I muted my voice chat (bound to F12), because I had to sneeze, and I suddenly hat millions of souls and all the talent points. Luckily I noticed right away and quit to avoid fucking up my savegame.
- In the Boss fight with Ione and the huge giant, the impact Markers (the orange skulls) for Iones jump attack are often in the wrong place.
- Controller input is passed down to normal gamelogic even when in a menu. If you stand in front of a door for example, open the inventory and press D-Pad down, you will enter the door, while the inventory is still open.
- The equipping/unequipping sound in the inventory ui often times plays at full loudness, completely ignoring audio volume settings.
- When advancing dialogs the big character portraits jump back and forth for a split second which looks really awkward.
- In a multi-monitor setup with the game set to fullscreen and using a controller, the mouse cursor is hidden but logically still there. This can lead to issues with the ui. For example when the invisible cursor by chance hovers on a list item (like in the death shrine ui) controller input is constantly overridden by the mouse cursor, making it impossible to select a different list item.
- The weapon damage in the level up ui for the secondary weapon shows just 0 if its a bow. The damage of the primary weapon changes seemingly at random under unknown conditions. For example I upped my damage stat, the weapon damage showed something above 110%, the next time I leveled it had gone down to 96% with the same weapon and equipment. Restarting the game solved the issue. In general the displayed information is not very useful. In addition to the damage multiplier, at least the damage of the currently equipped weapon should be displayed.
- German localization issues:
-- Text often overlaps ui elements because the text is too long.
-- "Um federen bitten" in the death shrine ui. There's a double typo in it and really should read "Um Federn bitten". Also the meaning is completely different from the english version. Admittedly the original "Reclaim" isn't that great in the first place.
- Strictly speaking this is no bug but there really needs to be an option to change the language. Picking the language based on OS setting without any way for the user to change that never was a good idea and certainly is not in 2018.
In general there is a lot of awkwardness with the games ui and a few questionable design decisions, but describing all of that would go beyound the scope of this post.
