I noticed the GOG version is missing the patch released on the 5th of October 2021 on Steam.

Are there any plans to release this for the GOG version as well?

I wouldn't count on it given devs/publishers not keeping the GOG versions of games up to date with other versions is a known problem here for years now.

I strongly recommend using gogdb to check a game's GOG version and date it was published, and comparing that with Steam's update history for a given game before buying here:

Furthermore, I recommend checking if a game has modding support and mods locked to Steam Workshop.
