Hi there !
when you choose the sponsor EON Conglomerate, u should normally get 2x gear after each battle, isn't it ?
but... it doesn't seem to work, as i only can get 1 gear after every battle...
does someone notice it too ?

I was confused too, but turns out it means you can choose 1 gear out of 4 instead out of 3.
