I was so lucky to buy Death Gate in time before it got removed again.

But as happy as I am, there is one small problem that's bugging me.
Whenever I open the magic menu, read a tome or quit the game, there is a lag about 2 or 3 seconds long. The screen just stays black for the duration and sound and music stop.

Now, I am aware this is only a minor inconvenience, but it somewhat draws me out of the atmosphere each time it happens. Funny thing is: It seems to have something to do with the game focussing and refocussing on fullscreen, because when I play in Windowed Mode, this doesn't happen.

Has anyone else come across this problem and found a solution for it by chance?
