Hi! I bought Deadly Premonition recently and I'm having a weird bug/issue that's preventing me to experience the game properly; whenever I enter the "map" menu and hit "e" or "f" to look at mision objetives, the game freezes and I'm unable to do anything besides closing the game by alt+f4 or crlt+alt+del.

I've tried to unlock it with the alt or alt+space to unpause the game flow, but it simply doesn't wotk.

The game looks amazing and I would love to keep playing without this issue. Anyone knows any solution for this?

I've managed to devise a solution for this! I'll leave it here in case anyone ends with the same issue:

I was using windows 8, and I had to activate the Windows XP (service pack 3) compatibility within the DP executable (not the launcher). After that, the game stops freezing at the objectives screen.
