Anyone else having trouble getting a decent FPS? Currently I'm at like 5, and for a game that looks as gorgeously ugly as this, I like to think I'm packing enough hardware to run it.

I've tried messing with the graphics options, and lowering the view distance has yielded some results but not enough to make the FPS playable :/

Hoping a veteran out there is going to have a quick trick I can employ, otherwise I'll have to assume it can't run on modern hardware.

Specs:

Geforce GTX 1650
Intel Core i5-9300H CPU @2.40GHZ
7.81 GB RAM
You need a directdraw wrapper...

tested and working : DDrawCompat (latest experimental release)

download and drop the ddraw.dll file into your game folder.

dgvoodoo2 also works, requires settings up a config file and such.

Mate you are an absoloute beast, thank you so much for taking the time. The DDrawCompat worked a treat!

Thanks again, really appreciated.
I have the same issue.
Nice tip, Zander_416, however DDrawCompar v0.3 doesn't work (halts with an error message), and v0.2.1 doesn't help much. :/
