I've been playing for a bit, got the fence fixed, got the antibiotics and in all quite enjoying the game and then all of a sudden the thing stops loading maps.
I'll select a new location, go to it, the loading bar comes up, loads and then I'm on a black screen with a locked cursor.
This happened both before and after the patch. Is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone managed to fix it?

EDIT: I tried skipping time to let people finish repair work and the maps started working, then I tried undoing that and taking people off of those jobs and leaving at the time it'd been crashing at before and it worked then too. I then tried moving location without doing either of these things and it worked then too.
Feeling that I might have gone completely mad I decided to quit the game, boot it up and attempt to change map and it froze just as it had been, so on a hunch I loaded up the game, loaded my save, then RE-loaded my save from in game before changing map, it got the map to load.

In summery: I have no idea whatsoever is causing the crash and no idea what doing any of the above actions would do that fixes it, but for whatever reason they do. If anyone else is getting this maybe you'd be able to figure it out better.

No idea what`s happening there. My game`s ran fine and has loaded up quite a lot of maps so far and I'm on maximum graphic settings. Maybe your graphics card is having problems? Have you tried perhaps changing your graphics settings? Maybe reduce your AA, switch SA off and try a different resolution?

I don`t know but it`s worth trying this one at a time and reloading to see if one of those options fixes it.
Tried tweaking the settings to no effect. Though as I mentioned in my edit I've already found a workaround, even though there is no logical reason that it would have any effect.
