About the slow aiming mode... I know about the "mouse sensitivity tied to framerate" problem and all but I was wondering, since they added so much processing to the mouse input, isn't it partly because aiming mode was supposed to feel kinda sluggish, adding to the tension by leaving you vulnerable, you kinda have to aim blind and then can only slightly correct your aim, and if you want to switch targets you most likely have to go out of aiming mode, move and then aim, unlike your average supersonic FPS... Wonder if anybody who played it on console could say how it was there.
As for me I play with the factory settings, only that I force vsync externally from Nvidia panel, so that I have a constant 60 fps instead of 30 fps. The mouse in the menus is a bit better now, even if still floaty, so I guess it did correct the mouse input a bit, though I did it all before starting the game for the first time so I don't know how it worked without the change. Aiming is still significantly slower, however, and to me it feels like it could be intentional, as it adds to the tension.
