Certain enemies seem capable of stun-locking you to death. No matter what you do, if they hit you once, you are most likely going to die. For example Golems and Slashers. Spinners don't even stunlock you. If you are caught in their path while on air (can easily happen when you are hit and pushed back), they can whitle down most of your life.

This is just plain unfair. Not only are these enemies really adept at following you, they are also extremely capable of killing you. You can't do much without any method of stunning them, freezing them or slowing them down. 1 mistake with them can cost you the entire game. I'm not sure how this can be fixed. Perhaps make the intervals between their attacks longer. Nonetheless they are just annoying enemies, and whenever I happen to get killed by them I feel the game has cheated me.
you can disrupt some combos with freeze grenades/flashbangs for example. often times youre not properly stunlocked, just unable to roll to safety/in a vortex.

Certain types of stunlock can be avoided by equipping a shield, as you get a brief period of invulnerability after being hit if you have one equipped. Golems unfortunately cause a long enough actual stun and short enough windup on their moves that it can become problematic to avoid death if you get caught in a cycle.
