The developers have a clear bias towards Steam, that much is self-evident. But what does that mean for us? As many of you likely already know, GOG customers are often seen as second class citizens. We already lack access to the BETA and ALPHA branches. What does this mean for the forums? Are the developers paying attention to us? Do they know we exist at all? Is it a complete waste of my time and effort to post here? It's not like I can go over and talk on the Steam forums, they block access to bug reporting and suggestions over there for people who don't own it on Steam. I have never seen someone from the dev-team post here a single time. I'm beginning to feel rather apathetic about this game because of this.

I think this has more to do with the size of the dev team than with gog. They're tiny, 7 people AFAIK. I read somewhere that it would be too much work for them to maintain two seperate builds.
Also, didn't we get to play the last few betas as well? I think it's only the alphas that are steam-exclusive.

The ALPHA and BETA builds thing was an aside, not the point of this thread. I could go on and on about exactly why that sort of thing would even be capable of being "too much work", but again, that's not the point of this thread. I brought it up as an example of how we're being shafted, if that wasn't clear.
