Hey everybody! I just discovered that somebody over on the Steam forums was able to provide a fix for the looping inked audio: https://steamcommunity.com/app/563190/discussions/0/3007801544740703777/

I tried on the GOG version and it didn't work, but thankfully, the patch package included instructions on how to patch the files in question yourself, and I did that and now the bug is really fixed. Blob does the retching noises when inked, and they stop after washing the ink off.

Edit: I initially had a comment how "Easy mode" (under options) generates weird dialogue boxes that read "apps" and "right windows", but this seems to be unrelated to the mod. What did happen, is that my progress got wiped, but I assume that was because I was switching back and forth between this mode to figure out what was wrong.
