Does anyone have an idea what the numbers in game.cfg mean? Does anyone know how to set music to Roland for MT-32 emulation?

Stronghold doesn't come with a sound setting tool. Apparently, sound can only be configured on installation. The reference card says something about typing 'sound' in the command line to reconfigure, but such a file doesn't exist. Not even in the complete package that includes the installers that I got from archive.org.

the game comes up with config at the start
at the top of the window/screen it should say
ENTER: use previous configuration, SPACE: reconfigure, ESC: quit

when i checked, Roland was one of the options given after hitting SPACE

i was using the "Launch Stronghold - Kingdom Simulator" shortcut in the install directory to run the game
launching through GOG Galaxy shows the config query as well

i hope this helps you out
Ugh, I was just looking for a setup.exe or install.exe or anything like that right away, without starting the game first to see, whether it's one of those...

Thank you for pointing me at the obvious. XD
