It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

The installer stops because Apple can't check for malicious software. Please fix!!
Can install but won't run on Mac m1.
For anyone wondering about the current state of this. Works for me on my M1 MacBook Air running macOS Monterey 12.5.
Not working for me with M2 Pro, Sonoma 14.1.1

Says the .app file is damaged.

Is this perhaps the 32-bit version being installed instead of the 64-bit version?

DoubleFine has already updated DOTT to be used in 64-bit:

You can control-click the .app file and click Open. This will let you run it without verification (which costs money, so DoubleFine would need to pay).

However it looks like this won't work anyway due to the mentioned issue
