I recycled my Stone Circle because I wanted to build a wall behind it (it was at the base of a mountain) but doing so made the location where it was build unusable. Will the land be usable again after some time or am I out of luck?

So today I loaded up my game again after a few days but now the dirt on which the Stone Circle stood on has turned into grass again and I can build other stuff on top of it again so I guess reloading my game seems to have fixed it?
