Hello, unless the gog version is different, in multiplayer, game automatically saves the game state to the host, as you play.

So, I think that now it is a little too late, but next time, when you'll like to load a saved multiplayer game, just let host (the player with computer on which was the game server created last time) create a multiplayer game, but when the host creates it, he should choose to load saved multiplayer game instead of starting a new multiplayer game.

Also remember, that when everybody wants to disconnect, the host should disconnect last, because if hosts disconnect and any normal player is still connected to the game, the server auto "migrates" to the new "host", which is the player, who didn't left the game yet.

And last one thing, when anybody leaves game, his character automatically drops his quest items from his inventory to the ground, where he is staying, before game disconnects him.

I'm german. Yesterday in the evening my husband and I played darkstone for the first time. A real old school game. It's nice. But we could'nt find out how to save our multiplayer session and your hints were a great help.
Greetings from Germany
