He said his evil speech, the screen went black, then- nothing. Draak didn't turn into a dragon or anything, and I can't fight him. Do I have to restart? :<

That's a new one to me. Do you have multiple saves so you can go back a bit?

Can you get into his treasure horde?

What happened after the screen went black? Did the level come back on and he was still a human?

No, which makes matters worse.

Exactly that.

Have you been able to see any of the other cutscene videos?

My last thought is that maybe your video card or something else is preventing you from watching the videos.

Try adding -noplaycine to the command line. It will skip the video, which may be causing a problem.

if that doesn't work, try it windowed with -window

I don't know how the GOG version is set up, but you could do all of these:

-32bit -nointro -noplaycine -hardmouse - window

I hope one (or a combo) of these works. If it doesn't, then I'm lost at helping (besides updating video card drivers and making sure you run it from a non-secured location if in Win7).

Let me know if anything works.

How do you put stuff to the command line?

And I'm pretty sure the others have played, I have at least HEARD the intro...
Here's a short tutorial:

Scratch that, it works, let's see what happens. God, the window, it's tiny. D:
Okay, no it didn't work. Is there a way to make the window bigger? The thing is so tiny on my screen and it makes me squint hard.

Take "window" out of the command line. My thought was maybe a full-screen graphics issue could maybe possibly cause an issue -- though I doubted it. You can just remove all the command line items if it's still not working.

My guess is a corrupt save or maybe a bad install. You might want to try to redownload/reinstall while keeping your save games and character files.

Or start the game again at a harder difficulty with your character and enjoy another playthough and hope it works the 2nd time around.

If anyone else has seen the issue, feel free to ring in.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking. Might try the redownload.
