Does this game support widescreen? My monitor is 1366 x 768 by the way

I don't know exactly, but.....

I play it on a DELL HD 24 inch wide screen monitor just fine. It fills the entire screen and nothing looks out of proportion. I am running at 1900 X 1200 on it tho.

It does. I played on notebook with the same resolution without problems.

It plays at 2560x1440 beautifully. The UI adapts nicely as well.

Funny little sidenote. It seems to be performing better in widescreen. I'm running it on my laptop. Celeron dual core 1.6 GHz, 4GB RAM, Intel HD 400 graphics and a native resolution of 1920x1080. So as you can imagine I'm running at the lowest possible settings. When I first started up the game I got 22-23 fps in the menu so I was about ready to uninstall the game again. I then set the resolution to 1280x720. This does increase the pixel count by quite a bit so I expected a small drop. So imagine my surprise when I return to the menu I see that I get 40-45 fps. So I started up the game. I only get around 25 when at the station. But I find that insignificant. In space I have never seen below 30 so far and that to me is sort of the limit of what I find playable in this kind of game. So you might even see a performance boost when going widescreen...
