Namur: This was taken form the mod description:
"When you get to the flak mission, just save and exit the game.
Than run the "Fixer.bat" file. It should tell you if the modification was successfull.
Now go back to the game, load the flak mission, finish it (it is now much easier) and save after it once again.
Now exit the game and run the "Fixer.bat" once more. And get back to your game."
Is that what you did ?

I can't seem to get fixer.bat to work. It says that it failed because the files are not in the right place.
I read that the fixer.bat and lua have to be put into the root ... well sorry but I don't understand what that entails as there is no file with the actual name of root (unless it is hidden) if you know or have some clue that would be awesome as I am stuck at flak 2.
I emailed the mod creator but to date I have had no reply.
I saw you online a moment ago and had to register before I could contact you. Sadly by that time it said that you were no longer online.
My email address is jdmutchl@yahoo.com to get me directly ...
Thanks.
playedout: I have been bitten by this issue probably 2 or 3 times in the game.
The "Fixer.bat" installs a line of code : temp.number= 1
It is installed in the Lua/missions folder battlelibmod.lua file.
If you do not take it out (by running the Fixer.bat file again) it can cause problems with completing assignments in several places of the game. See the Flak Work around in this forum. It makes it so you don't fight ALL the pirates under normal game play and causes some kind of hiccup.
I personally just go in and comment the line out using dash delimiters, like:
-- temp.number=1 --
Supposedly if you run the Fixer.bat program properly it will do that for you (or something to that effect). You may need to play the mission through again after Fixer.bat removes the code line.
Hello,
What did you use to edit the lua files as i can't seem to open them? I am stuck and fixer.bat won't run for me. as it says that the files are not in the right directory.
Please let me know. jdmutchl@yahoo.com
