Nightgaunt: Can anyone explain to me how to reverse the throttle control on the Thrustmaster T Flight Hotas X for Darstar One? This maps to Rudder Y on the controller but the only options to reverse are for Axis X, Y & Z?
It's very annoying pushing forward to slow down and pull back to speed up :(
Any help would be much appreciated.
OK
I know you must be going nuts! With this problem I had the same as well. But! I got it to work the right way and will try to explain to help you. This is what I did needing to do a few things to get the throttle to work in the right manner.. Here's what you have to do and hopefully this will work for you.
1st) You need to have the disk for the game OK? You have to uninstall the whole game right from scratch.
2nd) After you uninstall the game, reinstall everything it tells you to install.
3rd) Go to updates and do that! After you let it update!
4th) Then you do restore must do this in case some files weren't correct. Also don't forget to install all the skins as well when it asks you too later.
Now that this is all done. You will have to configure everything over again in the game itself. Sorry about that but must be done. Controls, and etc. Now! Once you feel all your configurations are to your liking. Go into the game whatever you like is up to you Quick Play Or Career or whatever. Now When you start your engine for your plane this is now the last thing you do.
You now press on your joystick where the two buttons are mapping, and preset. YOU PUSH PRESET! AND MAKE SURE THE GREEN LIGHT IS ON WHILE YOUR READY TO TAKE OFF AND PLAYING THROUGH ANY PART OF THE GAME. Your Throttle now should work the right way of pushing the throttle forward and gain speed and when pushed backward should lose speed. If you do everything I explained here! The throttle should work the right way for you. Always! And I stress this! Again make sure when going into the game and wanting to fly, make sure! The RESET BUTTON LIGHT IS ON Green and Oh! Make sure your button on the back of the controller is on PC. This worked for me and hopefully should work for you. Hey! This was driving me crazy too, even though the joystick is great! But to fly with controls backwards is a pain. Well, good luck to you, and hope this helped you. Took me days to figure this out not to mention how many hours heeeeeee...Be well,
Bill NY
