I bought both of these items, but can't get them to work. I've tried re-assigning from the arrow keys to other keys, but these items just don't seem to work. I checked them on my ship equipment list and they're showing the little coupling icon as locked. Is there something else I need to do to enable these?

hmm... they work fine for me... so if you fire your weapon energy down to nothing then hit the left arrow, the energy doesnt transfer from shields to weapons at all? it just doesnt do anything?
thats pretty weird...

Yes, that's it exactly. I've still not been able to get either transfer working.

just buying doesn't help, have you made sure you installed the tools into your ship?

If they are coupled, they should work.
Also as far as the description tells, and from what i've experienced, you can not transfer energy from the shields to the weapons with the Energy Flux Implant. I know the left arrow is for transferring to weapons, but the few cases i wanted more weapons energy (with the plasma boost you have all the energy you want for a while..so shield is more important, at least at the start), it didn't work.
But i can transfer from weapons to shield and from one to the other shield Of course, this only works when you do not have maximum shield energy.

Yes, I've tried it at power levels below 100% but it doesn't seem to do anything. I've tried shifting to shields while firing to see if my weapons slow down from lack of energy, but no effect.
