i keep getting a crazy error not sure what to do about it? if anyone can provide a solution a child could understand there may be hope for me...

Have you got the latest version of Directx your OS will handle and are your graphics card drivers up to date?

What resolution are you running at? There is a known bug with the game that causes a "Walhalla" exception if you are running it at 1680X1050. Just changing the resolution to something else will make it go away.
