If there like a spreadsheet that shows where i can find artifacts ?
I know i can get them by liberating systems aswell. But this Mechanic is weirding me out.
Also is there a way to tell what mission is harder than my current setup ? I remember Freelancer actually had a way to tell the difficulty of a mission. :D Any help would be nice i m kind used to the flying around part and that's in first person.

Systems that hold artifacts are marked with a special symbol in the navigation screen. That is, in the galactic chart.

You do not need even to pick them up yourself: in the trade station smugglers will offer getting it for you, if you pay them.
