i watched some gameplay videos of this game and noticed the sound effects were different from GOG's version. (ex. the attack sounds sound exactly like sword fighting.) could it have something to do with hardware differences? thanks for the help:)

i actually don't remember the exact video, but you can try looking up walkthroughs on YouTube. thats where i found it.

You could go through your youtube watch history.

It would help people know what you're talking about if you could provide a link to the specific video.

EDIT: did you try the instructions in the sticky post of this forum? Apparently it fixes the sword clashing sounds among other things.
