I decided to download the latest version of the game since it was recently updated.

I can't find the classic download file. Only the one with the maleware, I mean "optional client".
What's going on?

That's what they call progress.

Click on "More" and then on "Classic Installers". It may or may not remember the setting. You might have to redo this every time. :-(

Actually it's like installing Adobe Flash right now.

The big difference is – Flash is crap and tries to install even more crap, but it's free.

Don't be silly, me installing Flash would be like installing uplay. Not going to happen.

There's a choice in the 'More' menu, if you click on 'Classic Installers' you will have the version without client.

The option in the menu then changes to 'GOG Galaxy Installers' if you want to download the client version.
