Warning: This guide was prepared for game version number 21142 (it is the last version before introduction of "The Color of Madness" DLC) and now can be outdated. I will try to update it soon.
------------------------------------------------------------
This is a party I am currently using for probably the hardest dungeon, the Weald. This setup killed both champion bosses (Hag Witch and Brigand 16 Pounder) for me.
rank 1: Hellion
- Combat Skills: Wicked Hack / Iron Swan / Barbaric YAWP! / If It Bleeds
- Camping Skills: Encourage / Battle Trance / Revel / Sharpen Spear
- Trinkets: Ancestor's Pen / Sun Ring
rank 2: Man-at-Arms
- Combat Skills: Rampart / Defender / Retribution or Command / Bolster
- Camping Skills: Encourage / Tactics / Instruction / Weapons Practice
- Trinkets: Rampart Shield or Wilbur's Flag / Ancestor's Signet Ring
rank 3: Houndmaster
- Combat Skills: Hound's Rush / Target Whistle / Cry Havoc / Guard Dog
- Camping Skills: Encourage / Hound's Watch / Therapy Dog / Release The Hound
- Trinkets: Ancestor's Musket Ball / Ancestor's Pistol
rank 4: Vestal
- Combat Skills: Judgement / Dazzling Light or Hand of Light / Divine Grace / Divine Comfort
- Camping Skills: Encourage / Bless / Chant / Pray
- Trinkets: Ancestor's Scroll / Prophet's Eye or Sacred Scroll
Hellion is the damage dealer. Use Wicked Hack, Iron Swan and If It Bleeds to hit any enemy rank. Use Barbaric YAWP! at the end of fight to allow easier party hp and stress recovery.
Man-at-Arms is the protector and buffer. Use Defender to mitigate damage. Use Rampage to stun or vs party shuffle. Use Bolster to increase chances to dodge Hag Witch's "Into The Pot!" skill. Use Command to ensure the Matchman of Brigand Pounder will be killed each round.
Houndmaster is the jack of all trades. Use Hound's Rush to hit any enemy rank. Use Target Whistle to reduce enemy protection. Use Cry Havoc for party stress recovery. Use Guard Dog to become dodge tank.
Vestal is the healer. Use Divine Grace and Divine Comfort to heal your other party members. Use Judgement to heal Vestal. Dazzling Light can be used to stun but if Vestal has Sacred Scroll then Hand of Light might be better (use it when the party got shuffled).
