I'm interested in cheats as well. This might be the most brutal RTS I have ever played. Apart from Constructor of course.

Any smart brain out their that understands how it works or is it bugged maybe?
I've tried (SS ADN) with and without space. I've also tried lower and uppercase. Nothing works.

I'm using the unofficial 1.8.2 patch btw.
This game is really harsh against turtlers like me. Guess I have to edit the missions instead to give me that extra edge :)

Cheats bellow so more people can find them and understand what we are talking about;
At the game menu, type SS ADN, then type in these codes:
darkinv - Invulnerability
darkpower - Maximum power
dark20000 - 20,000 money

Hmm, I can't even figure out how to edit the missions with the editor.
The campaign missions don't show up in the editor and they don't seem to be in any specific folder either.

I probably won't play this game for a long time (if ever with my backlog), but I'm curious if non-campaign missions show up for the editor?

I ask because if they at least show up on the list, they are likely in a different folder in the game installation. Maybe moving the campaign files to that folder it'll allow you to see the files now.

As to not being able to edit, maybe there are some conditions to allow it? 1st maybe check to see if the files are marked as read-only? Also may want to check what type of file extensions they are, so you may be able to use some other program (with good trust rating ofc) to edit it instead. Are there no tutorials on Youtube?

That game seemed to have some type of community following, so maybe there are so work arounds for what you want to do.

there is an editor included with the game that enables you to edit all units. it works for the campaign too but, from level 5 the changes is reset and not possible to do anymore. that is unless gog fixed that issue.

I just found out myself that is a typo the ADN is and would like to know about the SS though.

So, I'm back at it again after a long pause.
Editing the text files in (Dark/deftxt/) and (Dark/deftxtex) were a cakewalk. What does what was well documented in the text files. Though guessing (deftxtex) is meant to be for mission 6.
I'm about to play mission 6. But it don't seem to be too hard. So, maybe it's fine :)

But something I can't figure out is HEX editing the save file to change the amount of credits you have. I can't find the hex value that corresponds to the amount of credits I have. I still can't get the cheats to work with this in mind. Not sure wich menu it is supposed to be typed in in.
